LibraryIQ lives at libraryiq.inknironapps.com. There is nothing to download and no store to wait on — open the link, sign in with Google, and start adding books. It installs to a phone or desktop home screen if you want it there, keeps working when the signal drops, and syncs to every device you sign in to.

Six ways to look at the same library

• Library — your home page. A reading-goal bar, headline stats, and every book you own drawn as a coloured spine on a wooden shelf. Click a spine for the detail.
• Gallery — every book as cover art, searchable and filterable by status or genre. Anything without a cover gets a generated one.
• Tracker — the full table. Status, rating, spice, progress, dates and cost, sortable by any column, editable inline.
• Wishlist — what you plan to buy and what you expect to pay, with a running total. Mark one purchased and it moves into the tracker keeping everything already typed.
• Budget — spending by genre, by format and month by month, filtered by year, with recurring costs like Audible or Kindle Unlimited tracked separately.
• Stats — pages and books over time, top authors and genres, and a Year in Books summary for any reading year.

Adding a book takes seconds

Point your camera at a barcode and LibraryIQ reads the ISBN in the browser — no app install, no separate scanner. It then fills in title, author, cover, description, page count, publisher and series position from six catalogues: Google Books, Open Library, Apple Books, Inventaire, Libris and OpenBD. Or search by title and author, or type it in yourself — only title and author are required.

Photograph a shelf (AI)

No barcode, or twenty books at once? Photograph the shelf, the stack, or a single cover. A vision model reads the spines and covers — including stylised type and angled shots — and hands back a list. Nothing is saved until you tick the ones that are right.

Genres, series and authors

AI classification gives every book a specific genre rather than "Fiction", and fills in content warnings if you want them. Series and author pages gather everything in one place. Collections group books however you like, and smart-collection rules populate themselves from criteria you set — rating, status, length, format, spice, whether you have written a review.

Keeping the habit

Set a yearly reading goal and watch it fill. Earn any of 85 badges across reading milestones, genre families, series completion, streaks, formats and lending. Watch an author and hear about their next book — checked nightly, with anything already on your shelf filtered out. And when nothing appeals, the What Next wheel narrows the pile by mood and spins for you.

Lending, duplicates and trash

Track who has your books and whose books you have; a loaned book is obvious on the shelf and returns to its old status when it comes back. Duplicate detection finds the same book twice by ISBN, by title and author, or by a subtitle mismatch — no AI and no key needed. Deleted books wait in the trash, grouped by the moment they were deleted, so a bulk delete comes back as the batch it was.

Your data, on every device

Your library syncs to every device you sign in to, and stays editable offline — changes queue up, survive a reload, and replay when you reconnect. Export gives you a full JSON backup or a CSV, either the complete spreadsheet or the narrower shape the Goodreads importer accepts. A Goodreads export imports back in the same way, merged against what you already have. Deleting your account erases it and everything in it, permanently.

What it costs

The app is free. Unlimited books, every view above, cross-device sync, barcode scanning and export cost nothing, and barcode scanning is never counted against any allowance. Only AI requests are metered:
